Armenia-Support for Institutional, Legal and Administrative Reform phase III

Description

The objectives of this contract are the followinng: – Improve the policy-making capacity of the Armenian government and the Armenian Parliament in key areas of the PCA; – Assist Armenia in meeting its obligations under the PCA (in particular with regard to legislative approximation) and other international agreements, in particular the WTO; provide advice for effective implementation and enforcement; – Develop the local capacity for providing independent policy advice; Foster the development of an informed policy debate on economic, legal and social developments in Armenia as well as on EU-Armenia relations through the provision of independent economic and legal analyses on specific issues. Then the project developped the following main activities: -Legal approximation and advice on implementation plans; -Benchmarking the implementation of the PCA; -Developing government policy in key areas of the PCA; -Provision of Economic Policy Advice; -Publication of Armenian Economic Trends (AET); -Translation of International Agreements; -Development and strengthening of AEPLAC
