Projet:
Extension of Armenian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre (AEPLAC) Phase IV
Pays:
Armenia
Domaine d'expertise:

PCA

Description:

Since Armenia and the EU signed a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA), the EU has been supporting its implementation mainly through the AEPLAC Project.

AEPLAC IV started its operations in November 2005 and concentrated on institutional analysis and capacity building. Its activities have been grouped within four components: capacity building, policy and legal advice, public awareness and AEPLAC development.

Objectives:

  • To support the Ministry of Justice in rebuilding the translation centre, following an accidental fire in February 2008 and the 20-days state of emergency in Yerevan following the post-election events
  • To allow the project to smoothly finalise its ongoing activities and to prepare the hand over to the next phase.
