Qualifications and skills:

Master's Degree or equivalent professional experience in Economics or International Trade
Excellent verbal and written command of English
Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia would be an added advantage
Excellent communication, mobilisation and change management skills
Proven ability to develop solid partnerships with high level officials in order to achieve project results

General professional experience:

At least 7 years of professional experience in trade and investment matters, particularly in the areas of trade and investment policy, improvement of trade and investment climate and trade and investment facilitation
Experience in technical assistance projects in support of trade and investment gained in developing countries, preferably in Asia
Relevant professional experience in Indonesia would be an added advantage.

Specific professional experience:

Experience in institutional strengthening of public agencies involved in trade and investment policy matters
Experience in organising, managing and facilitating training for public agencies
Having good knowledge in the conduct of trade and investment policy in EU countries
Having a good network or capability to set up network with training institutions or universities in EU countries
Exposure to topics which are key to improvement of Indonesia's investment climate: infrastructure, logistics, labour market, would be an advantage
Familiarity with public-private-partnership investment arrangements particularly in the infrastructure sector would be an advantage
