The objectives of the contract are:
To attain a high level of awareness on IP issues among Lebanese thereby safeguarding their innovations, arts, creations, etc. and complementing the country’s policy for an open and transparent market economy, with special emphasis on meeting the country’s obligations towards the international community;
To have a structure in charge of enforcing IP that is equipped with a modern and appropriate strategy enabling it to constantly and effectively educate and raise public awareness on IP issues;
and to transform the concept of IP among consumers from a legal concept to an instrument of development linked directly to their everyday life.
