Technical assistance services for the judicial services, training and institutions capacity enhancement (justice) project in Lao PDR
The Government of Lao People’s Democratic Republic has applied for a financing from Agence Française de Développement (“AFD”) for a Judicial Services Training, Institutions and Capacity Enhancement (JuSTICE) Project.
The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the strengthening of the rule of law through a support to the Legal Sector Master Plan covering the period 2010-2020, which might be soon updated at least for the five coming years (2021-2025).
The purpose of the service contract is to strengthen the institutional and human resources of core departments and training institutions of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP) and the People’s Supreme Court (PSC), in order to provide effective, prompt and equitable justice that is accessible gradually to the people at all levels.
The targeted institutions are the Ministry of justice (MOJ), the Lao Bar Association (LBA), the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP) and the People’s Supreme Court (PSC).
