There was two parts:
– ESA95 versus Lithuanian national budget comparison training;
– Budget forecasts training;
– Overall audit and analysis of the various accounts procedure and data flows aiming to provide ESA 95 presentation of the Lithuanian budget.
The general and specific objectives, and the expected outputs:
General objective: to support government intentions in preparing and organizing Buthan’s accession to WTO;
TA finalising support programme including advice on the institutional set-up for Kenya in order to prepare and carry out the negotiation under the Cotonou Partnership Agreement, design mechanism of consultations with all relevant Kenyan stakeholders
Introduction of the proposed Common External Tariff in ECOWAS and the implications for integration in ECOWAS

The project’s objective is to support to the Ministry of Justice – Directorate General of the Prison and Reintegration Administration (DGAPR) – for the planning, implementation, management and monitoring of a 17 million EUR project for the reform of the Algerian prison system.

Since Armenia and the EU signed a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA), the EU has been supporting its implementation mainly through the AEPLAC Project. AEPLAC IV started its operations in November 2005 and concentrated on institutional analysis and capacity building.
Technical assistance to the establishment of the High Judicial Council and the High Prosecutorial Council
The overall objective of this project is to continue supporting the Serbian government in its efforts to develop an independent judiciary in line with EU and Council of Europe standards and practices; especially to establish, implement and support transfer of responsibilities and mandates from the MoJ to the (reconstituted) High Judicial Council and the State Prosecutorial Council as well as provide support to the Strategy Implementation Council.
