The MUTRAP III project aims at strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) concerning its core responsibilities of trade policy making, WTO coordination, regional and free trade agreements and implementation of integration commitments and competition policy.

The project has two clearly-defined objectives, i.e.:To support Kazakhstan’s efforts in fostering reforms and increasing competitiveness of the country as well and efficiency/effectiveness of the State programming documents.To strengthen relationships between EU and Kazakhstan by means of exchange of expertise, best practices, know-how and an enhanced policy dialogue process.
Support to PCA Implementation Ukraine
The purpose of the project is to support Ukraine in the implementation of the PCA provisions and EU-UA Action Plan, in particular in terms of operation of joint bodies established within the framework of the PCA, improvement of the system of monitoring of the implementation of the PCA and the EU UA AP, to be then used also for the implementation of the agreement to replace the PCA new enhanced agreement, fostering of enhanced relationships between the EU and the UA after the replacement of the current PCA agreement.
Mid-term Evaluation of EU-China Trade Project
With reference to the EU-China Trade Project aimed to support the further integration of China into the world economy, to assist the Chinese government in implementing its obligations under, and commitments in, the WTO and to increase the capacity of China in the process of wider economic, regulatory, legal and administrative reform, the overall objective of the evaluation activities will be to improve the design and the impact of the European Commission
Study of EU Trade & Investment Opportunities and Challenges in Indonesia
The overall objective of the assignment is to identify the opportunities (market potential, competitiveness, market opening etc.) and challenges (regulatory obstacles, investment climate, fair competition etc.) that the Indonesian market poses to EU companies, which will provide the basis for enhanced cooperation through different avenues (FTA negotiations, bilateral dialogue and cooperation etc.) for the mutual benefit of the EU and Indonesia.

Strengthening Civil Society – A Roma Strategy for Kosovo
Roma (in Kosovo also Ashkali and Egyptians) constitute the most marginalised people in Europe and are among the most vulnerable groups in the South-Eastern European Region (SEE). The urgency to address a sustainable integration of Roma and Sinti in Western and South Eastern Europe was addressed by OSCE participating states with the adoption of the Action Plan On Improving the Situation of Roma and Sinti within the OSCE Area in 2003.

TA to Upgrading of Imprisonment Conditions, Respect of Human Rights
After the implementation of a pilot phase, this new project of strengthening of the judiciary and penitentiary system of Cameroon, amelioration of the human right protection and humanisation will be extended to 10 prisons over the Country. It will assist in the implementation of activities which objectives are to upgrade the judiciary and ameliorate the detention conditions.
Final Evaluation for the EU-China Training Programme on Village Self-Governance
This mission produced the final evaluation of a five year long EU-China Training Programme on Village Self Governance, a capacity building project with particular focus on economic development and good governance at all levels. Context: The evaluated Programme’s aim was threefold: improving the long term cooperation between the PRC and the EU, enhancing the understanding and observance of law by local beneficiaries in the village framework, promoting the development of village self governance.
