WTO Accession Support (Memorandum, Questions, Assistance to Negotiations)

The overall objective is to support and facilitate the accession of Yemen to the World Trade Organisation, thereby contributing to improved efficiency in the Yemeni economy and long term economic growth. The project focuses specifically on supporting the preparation and co-ordination of the accession process. This means that the project directly supports the WTO Co-ordination and Communications Unit in the Ministry of Supply and Trade.

Strengthening Civil Society – A Roma Strategy for Kosovo

Roma (in Kosovo also Ashkali and Egyptians) constitute the most marginalised people in Europe and are among the most vulnerable groups in the South-Eastern European Region (SEE). The urgency to address a sustainable integration of Roma and Sinti in Western and South Eastern Europe was addressed by OSCE participating states with the adoption of the Action Plan On Improving the Situation of Roma and Sinti within the OSCE Area in 2003.

Support to PCA Implementation Ukraine

The purpose of the project is to support Ukraine in the implementation of the PCA provisions and EU-UA Action Plan, in particular in terms of operation of joint bodies established within the framework of the PCA, improvement of the system of monitoring of the implementation of the PCA and the EU UA AP, to be then used also for the implementation of the agreement to replace the PCA new enhanced agreement, fostering of enhanced relationships between the EU and the UA after the replacement of the current PCA agreement.

Final Evaluation for the EU-China Training Programme on Village Self-Governance

This mission produced the final evaluation of a five year long EU-China Training Programme on Village Self Governance, a capacity building project with particular focus on economic development and good governance at all levels. Context: The evaluated Programme’s aim was threefold: improving the long term cooperation between the PRC and the EU, enhancing the understanding and observance of law by local beneficiaries in the village framework, promoting the development of village self governance.

Final Evaluation of the Sefa 2 Project on Strengthening of the Teaching of French in Afghanistan

Following a first phase of the project, SEFA2 (Soutien à l’enseignement de français en Afghanistan) is embedded inside of the French Department in Kabul University (DFUK). Its main objectives are to train or retrain French-speaking professionals (120 students) through the drafting of new curricula and of the development of governance procedures aiming at becoming references at national level.
